¿Qué causa el herpes febril?
Respuesta:
El herpes febril localizado en los labios, la boca y la cara por lo regular es causado por el virus del herpes simple tipo 1, que es sumamente contagioso. Solamente un pequeño porcentaje lo causa el herpes simple tipo 2, comúnmente asociado con lesiones genitales.
Aunque no existe cura para el herpes febril, hay medicamentos que alivian el dolor y la picazón y aceleran la cicatrización de la ampolla.
