Respuesta:

Los medicamentos de venta libre que contienen ácido salicílico a menudo son efectivos para eliminar las verrugas. Por lo general vienen en líquido que se pincela sobre la verruga o una almohadilla que se coloca sobre ésta. También hay disponibilidad de un dispositivo de venta libre para congelar verrugas.

Mantener una verruga cubierta con una cinta adhesiva aislante no muy apretada durante muchas semanas también puede ayudar a hacerla desaparecer. Cualquier verruga que no responda a los tratamientos con medicamentos de venta libre debe ser examinada por un dermatólogo. Ver verrugas.
