Auscultación
Definición:
Es un método que se utiliza para escuchar los sonidos corporales durante un examen fÃsico .Información:
La auscultación generalmente se lleva a cabo escuchando a través de un estetoscopio. Los médicos auscultan rutinariamente los pulmones, el corazón e intestinos del paciente para evaluar la frecuencia, intensidad, duración, número y calidad de los sonidos.
Los médicos también utilizan la auscultación para escuchar los sonidos cardÃacos de los fetos, pero esto no se hace con un estetoscopio, sino con ondas sonoras. Esto se denomina ecografÃa Doppler y también se utiliza para escuchar los pulsos en las manos y los pies.
