Necrosis
Definición:
Necrosis significa muerte del tejido en el cuerpo y sucede por un suministro insuficiente de sangre al tejido, ya sea por lesión, irradiación o sustancias quÃmicas. La necrosis es irreversible.
Cuando hay áreas extensas de muerte tisular debido a la falta del suministro de sangre, la condición se denomina gangrena .
