Infecciones secundarias
Definición:
Es una infección que se presenta durante o después del tratamiento de otra infección ya existente y que puede originarse por el tratamiento en sà o por alteraciones del sistema inmune.
Por ejemplo, una infección por levaduras que se presenta después de un tratamiento con antibióticos de una infección bacteriana es una infección secundaria. Otro ejemplo es el desarrollo de una neumonÃa bacteriana posterior a una infección respiratoria viral de las vÃas aéreas superiores.
