Es la parte baja del útero. Está localizado en la parte superior de la vagina y mide aproximadamente una pulgada de largo. El canal cervical atraviesa el cuello uterino, permitiendo que la sangre de un período menstrual y un bebé (feto) pasen de la matriz (útero) hacia la vagina.
