Definición:
Es una manera de separar dos o más compuestos químicos, como las proteínas. Hay diferentes tipos de cromatografía como la cromatografía de gases, de líquidos a alta presión o de intercambio iónico.
En general, la cromatografía aprovecha las diferencias en los químicos que se desean separar, como su tamaño, carga eléctrica o la capacidad para adherirse (fijarse) al material.
