Endoscopio - Overview

Definición:

Es un dispositivo con una luz incluida que se utiliza para mirar dentro de una cavidad u órgano corporal. Este dispositivo se introduce a través de una abertura natural, como la boca para una broncoscopia, o el recto para una sigmoidoscopia.

Un procedimiento médico que utilice cualquier tipo de endoscopio se denomina endoscopia.
