Renuencia a comer; Miedo a los alimentos nuevos
La preferencia por un solo alimento (food jag ) se da cuando el niño únicamente come un alimento comida tras comida. Algunos otros comportamientos alimentarios comunes en la infancia que pueden causar alarma en muchos padres son, entre otros, el temor a los nuevos alimentos y el rechazo a comer lo que se sirve.
A veces, los hábitos de alimentación de los niños son una forma de sentirse independientes, lo cual únicamente marca el desarrollo normal en ellos.
