Edulcorantes - Efectos secundarios

Efectos secundarios:

El azúcar suministra calorías y no otros nutrientes. Existe preocupación acerca de que el azúcar o los edulcorantes calóricos pueden causar caries dental. El hecho de tomar grandes cantidades de bebidas que contengan azúcar también está asociado con la obesidad en los niños.

Una alta ingesta de azúcar no causa diabetes, pero si a la persona se le diagnostica esta enfermedad, con frecuencia es necesario que reduzca la cantidad de azúcar simple que consume.
