Programas de almuerzo escolar - Recommendations

Recomendaciones:

Cada programa de almuerzo escolar es diferente. Para saber más sobre el programa en cada comunidad, se puede solicitar a la escuela el menú que están comiendo los niños y, si las comidas que se sirven son menos nutritivas de lo que se esperaría, se puede pensar en la posibilidad de escoger 2 ó 3 días para que el niño participe del almuerzo escolar y complementarlo con almuerzos más saludables preparados en el hogar en los días restantes.

Al hacer juicios acerca de los programas de almuerzo escolar en la comunidad, hay que recordar que los almuerzos más saludables hechos en casa tienen muy poco beneficio si no se consumen.
