Intoxicación con hipoclorito de sodio - Symptom

Clorox; Solución Carrel-Dakin; Blanqueador

Síntomas:

El hipoclorito de sodio diluido en agua generalmente causa sólo una irritación estomacal leve, pero ingerir cantidades más grandes puede ocasionar síntomas más serios.

NUNCA mezcle amoníaco con hipoclorito de sodio (blanqueadores o productos que contengan blanqueador), ya que este error doméstico común produce un gas tóxico que puede provocar asfixia y problemas respiratorios graves.

Los síntomas de la intoxicación con hipoclorito de sodio pueden abarcar:

  • Pulmones y vías respiratorias
    • tos (por los vapores)
  • Ojos, oídos, nariz, boca y garganta
    • enrojecimiento y ardor en los ojos
    • sensación de náuseas
    • dolor en la boca
    • dolor en la garganta
    • posibles quemaduras en el esófago
  • Corazón y vasos sanguíneos
    • dolor torácico
    • presión arterial baja
    • latidos cardíacos lentos
    • shock
  • Sistema nervioso
  • Piel
    • irritación del área expuesta
    • quemaduras
    • ampollas
  • Estómago e intestinos
    • dolor abdominal o estomacal
    • vómitos
