Definición:

La aminofilina o teofilina son medicamentos empleados para prevenir y tratar las sibilancias y otras dificultades respiratorias causadas por enfermedades pulmonares como el asma.

La sobredosis de aminofilina o teofilina ocurre cuando alguien toma accidental o intencionalmente más de la cantidad normal o recomendada de estos medicamentos.
