Sobredosis de betabloqueadores - Overview

Definición:

Los betabloqueadores son un tipo de fármaco empleado para tratar la hipertensión arterial.

La sobredosis de betabloqueadores ocurre cuando alguien toma accidental o intencionalmente más de la cantidad normal o recomendada de este medicamento.

Esto es sólo para fines de información y no para usarse en el tratamiento o manejo de una exposición tóxica real. Elemento tóxico:

El ingrediente específico en tales fármacos varía entre los fabricantes. El ingrediente principal es una sustancia bloqueante beta adrenérgica. Ésta bloquea los efectos de una hormona llamada epinefrina en el cuerpo. La epinefrina también se denomina adrenalina.
