Sobredosis de Campho-Phenique - Overview

Definición:

Campho-Phenique es un fármaco de venta libre utilizado para tratar las boqueras o fuegos (herpes febril) y las picaduras de insectos.

La sobredosis de Campho-Phenique se presenta cuando alguien accidental o intencionalmente toma más de la cantidad normal o recomendada de este fármaco.

Esto es sólo para fines de información y no para usarse en el tratamiento o manejo de una exposición tóxica real. De ocurrir, debe llamar de emergencia local (tal como 911) o al Centro de Control de Envenenamiento nacional, al 1-800-222-1222.

Elemento tóxico:

El Campho-Phenique contiene tanto alcanfor como fenol.
