Toxicidad del litio - Symptom

Síntomas:

TOXICIDAD AGUDA

Después de tomar demasiado litio, usted tendrá síntomas como:

  • Diarrea
  • Mareo
  • Náuseas
  • Dolores estomacales
  • Vómitos
  • Debilidad

Usted también presentará algunos de los siguientes síntomas neurológicos, dependiendo de la cantidad de litio que haya tomado:

  • Coma
  • Temblores en las manos
  • Descoordinación de brazos y piernas (ataxia)
  • Fasciculaciones musculares
  • Convulsiones
  • Mala pronunciación
  • Movimientos oculares incontrolables (nistagmo)

En casos muy poco frecuentes, se pueden presentar problemas cardíacos.

TOXICIDAD CRÓNICA

Probablemente no tendrá ningún síntoma gastrointestinal. Los síntomas que se pueden dar abarcan:

  • Incremento de reflejos
  • Mala pronunciación
  • Temblores

En casos graves, también puede presentar problemas renales y neurológicos, como:

  • Insuficiencia renal
  • Problemas de memoria
  • Trastornos de movimiento
  • Problemas para conservar las sales en el cuerpo
  • Psicosis

TOXICIDAD CRÓNICA REAGUDIZADA

Usted probablemente presentará algunos síntomas gastrointestinales y muchos de los síntomas neurológicos mencionados arriba.
