Sobredosis de mentol - Overview

Definición:

El mentol se emplea como saborizante para golosinas y otros productos. La intoxicación ocurre por la ingestión de mentol puro.

Esto es sólo para fines de información y no para usarse en el tratamiento ni en el manejo de una exposición tóxica real. Si usted sufre una exposición, debe llamar al número local de emergencias (tal como 911 en los Estados Unidos) o al Centro Nacional de Toxicología (National Poison Control Center) a la línea 1-800-222-1222.

  • Refrescadores del aliento
  • Golosinas
  • Cigarrillos
  • Medicamentos para el herpes labial (boqueras o fuegos)
  • Gotas para la tos
  • Cremas y lociones para aliviar la picazón
  • Goma de mascar
  • Inhaladores, pastillas o ungüentos para tratar la congestión nasal
  • Medicamentos para tratar las encías, boca, garganta irritadas
  • Enjuagues bucales
  • Ungüentos para tratar achaques y dolores (Ben-Gay, Therapeutic Mineral Ice)
  • Aceite de menta
