Sobredosis de Merthiolate - Overview

Definición:

El Merthiolate es una sustancia que contiene mercurio y que alguna vez se usó ampliamente como antiséptico y preservativo en muchos productos diferentes, incluyendo vacunas.

La intoxicación con Merthiolate ocurre cuando se ingieren grandes cantidades de la sustancia o éstas entran en el contacto con la piel. La intoxicación también puede ocurrir si uno constantemente se expone a cantidades pequeñas de Merthiolate por un período de tiempo prolongado.
