Picadura de garrapatas - Symptom

Síntomas:

Esté atento a los síntomas de enfermedades transmitidas por garrapatas, como dolores articulares o musculares, rigidez en el cuello, dolor de cabeza, fiebre, inflamación de los ganglios linfáticos y otros síntomas similares a la gripe, en las semanas siguientes a la picadura de este insecto. Asimismo, esté atento a una mancha roja o brote que se inicie en el lugar de la picadura.

Los síntomas mencionados a continuación están más relacionados con los problemas que resultan de la picadura en sí, que con las enfermedades que una picadura pueda ocasionar. Algunos de los síntomas son específicos para una u otra variedad de garrapata, pero no necesariamente comunes a todas las garrapatas.

  • Apnea (detención de la respiración)
  • Ampollas
  • Dificultad para respirar
  • Salpullido
  • Dolor fuerte en el sitio de la picadura (algunas variedades) que dura varias semanas
  • Hinchazón en el sitio de la picadura (algunas variedades)
  • Debilidad
  • Movimientos descoordinados
