Diverticulectomía de Meckel

Expectativas después de la cirugía:

El resultado de cualquier cirugía depende de muchas condiciones. El médico podrá darle al paciente un pronóstico bastante acertado de lo que será el resultado probable.

Convalecencia:

Después de la cirugía, el equipo médico vigilará cuidadosamente al paciente y le administrará los medicamentos para aliviar cualquier dolor. El paciente recibirá líquidos por vía intravenosa hasta que se escuchen sonidos intestinales y luego se puede reanudar la alimentación por vía oral. Se puede colocar una sonda nasogástrica a través de la nariz hasta el estómago con el fin de vaciar este último, al igual que administrar antibióticos para prevenir o tratar una infección. La mayoría de los pacientes son dados de alta al cabo de una semana después de la cirugía si no se presentan complicaciones.
