Riesgos:

Es posible que la visión no se restaure completamente después de la cirugía, lo que se denomina corrección insuficiente. En algunos casos, se puede dar una corrección excesiva de la visión.

Después de la cirugía, algunos pacientes pueden presentar:

  • Manchas (halos) en los ojos
  • Dificultad para ver de noche debido al brillo (sensibilidad a la luz)
