Riesgos:

Las complicaciones más comunes son el movimiento del implante, la formación de hematomas y la inflamación. Otras posibles complicaciones abarcan: pérdida de la sensibilidad en el mentón y lesión en los dientes. La infección y los coágulos sanguíneos son poco comunes. La nicotina del cigarrillo puede retardar la cicatrización.
