Ceguera nocturna

Definición:

Es la visión escasa en la noche o en ambientes con luz tenue.

La ceguera nocturna puede causar problemas para conducir un vehículo al final de la tarde o en la noche. Las personas que padecen este tipo de ceguera con frecuencia tienen problemas para ver las estrellas en una noche clara.

Causas comunes:

En algunos casos, los ojos simplemente pueden tener dificultad para adaptarse a la oscuridad y es posible que el problema no se deba a otra afección. Sin embargo, con frecuencia está ligada a la miopía (visión corta).
