Cuidados en el hogar:

Los cuidados para el babeo debido a la dentición incluyen una buena higiene oral. Los helados u otros objetos fríos (como el pan ácimo congelado) pueden ayudar. Tenga cuidado para evitar el ahogamiento cuando un niño utiliza cualquiera de estos objetos.

  • No se ha diagnosticado la causa del babeo.
  • Hay preocupación sobre una aspiración.
  • Su hijo presenta fiebre, dificultad respiratoria o mantiene la cabeza en una posición extraña.

El médico llevará a cabo un examen físico y hará preguntas acerca de los síntomas, tales como:

  • ¿Hay antecedentes de algunas otras enfermedades?
  • ¿Ha sufrido la persona una mordedura o picadura?
  • ¿Ha tenido la persona una lesión?
  • ¿Qué medicamentos está tomando la persona?
  • ¿Qué otros síntomas se presentan (como fiebre, dolor de garganta, parálisis facial ?

Los exámenes que se llevan a cabo dependen de los síntomas que ocurren con el babeo.
