Tensión de la voz; Pérdida de la voz; Disfonía
Es la dificultad para producir sonidos al tratar de hablar o un cambio en el tono o calidad de la voz, la cual puede sonar débil, muy velada, chillona o ronca.
Por lo general, la ronquera es causada por un problema en las cuerdas vocales. La mayoría de los casos ocurre con hinchazón (inflamación) de la laringe (laringitis).
La ronquera que continúa durante semanas o meses debe ser examinada por un médico. Aunque algunas causas son menores, son posibles causas más graves, como el cáncer de laringe.
