Es un aplanamiento de la parte superior de la nariz.

Consideraciones generales:
La disminución en el crecimiento (hipoplasia) del puente nasal se puede presentar en asociación con enfermedades infecciosas o genéticas. Esta disminución en la altura del puente nasal se puede observar mejor a partir de una vista lateral de la cara.
