Tumor inguinal - Overview

Definición:

Es una inflamación localizada en el área de la ingle (donde la parte superior de la pierna se encuentra con la parte inferior del abdomen). Puede ser firme o suave, sensible o indoloro del todo.

Consideraciones:

Todos los tumores en la ingle deben ser examinados por un médico.

Causas:

  • Reacción alérgica
  • Cáncer
  • Reacción a un medicamento
  • Quiste inofensivo (benigno)
  • Hernia (generalmente una protuberancia grande y suave en uno o ambos lados de la ingle)
  • Infecciones en las piernas
  • Lesión o traumatismo en el área de la ingle
  • Lipomas (tumores grasos inofensivos)
  • Enfermedades de transmisión sexual como el herpes genital, la clamidia y la gonorrea
  • Inflamación de los ganglios linfáticos en el área de la ingle
