Tumor testicular
Definición:
Un tumor testicular es una inflamación o masa en uno o en ambos testÃculos.

Un tumor testicular que no duele puede ser un signo de cáncer. La mayorÃa de los casos de cáncer testicular ocurre en hombres entre 15 y 40 años de edad, aunque se pueden presentar en edades más tempranas o posteriores.
Causas comunes:
Posibles causas de tumor testicular acompañado de dolor:
- Lesión o trauma
- Epididimitis
- Infección del saco escrotal
- Paperas
- Orquitis (infección testicular)
- Torsión testicular
- Cáncer testicular
- Espermatocele (una masa similar a un quiste dentro del escroto que contiene lÃquido y espermatozoides muertos)
- Varicocele (una vena varicosa a lo largo del cordón espermático)
Las posibles causas de tumor en un testÃculo cuando no hay dolor:
- Cáncer testicular
- Hidrocele (acumulación de lÃquido en el escroto)
- Asa intestinal a partir de una hernia
- Varicocele
- Espermatocele
