Rubor/enrojecimiento de la piel
Definición:
Es el enrojecimiento súbito de la cara, el cuello y de la parte superior del tórax.

Consideraciones generales:
El rubor es una respuesta normal del cuerpo que puede ocurrir en caso de uno sentirse avergonzado, enojado, excitado o estar experimentando alguna otra emoción fuerte.
El enrojecimiento de la cara puede también estar asociado con ciertas afecciones.
Causas comunes:
- Consumo de alcohol
- SÃndrome carcinoide
- Ciertos medicamentos utilizados para tratar la diabetes y el colesterol alto
- Emociones extremas
- Fiebre alta
- Alimentos calientes o picantes
- Menopausia
- Cambios bruscos de temperatura
- Rosácea
