Protuberancias de la piel - Treatment

Cuidados en el hogar:

Las protuberancias en la piel ocasionadas por trauma se pueden tratar con descanso, hielo, compresión y elevación del área afectada. Las demás deben, en su mayoría, ser examinadas por el médico antes de ensayar cualquier tipo de tratamientos caseros.

El médico llevará a cabo un examen físico y hará preguntas acerca de los síntomas tales como:

  • ¿Dónde se encuentra la protuberancia?
  • ¿Cuándo la notó por primera vez?
  • ¿Hay más de una protuberancia?
  • ¿Es dolorosa?
  • ¿Cómo es la protuberancia?
  • ¿Qué otros síntomas tiene?

El médico puede prescribir antibióticos si usted tiene una infección. En caso de sospecharse cáncer, se puede practicar una biopsia.
