Surco nasolabial corto

Definición:

El surco nasolabial se define por dos crestas ligeras en la piel que van de la nariz hasta el labio superior y se considera corto cuando presenta una distancia menor a la normal.

Consideraciones generales:

Los rasgos faciales son características impuestas por la herencia genética. Las anomalías genéticas pueden predisponer a los individuos a cambios en los rasgos. La longitud del surco nasolabial, que es el surco de la línea media en el labio superior que va desde la parte superior del labio a la nariz, está determinada genéticamente. En algunos síndromes dicho surco es corto.
