Cromo sérico
El cromo es un mineral que afecta los niveles de insulina, carbohidratos, grasa y proteína en el cuerpo. Este artículo aborda el examen para verificar la cantidad de cromo en la sangre.

No se requiere preparación especial para este examen.
Cuando se inserta la aguja para extraer la sangre, se puede sentir un dolor moderado o experimentar sólo una sensación de pinchazo o picadura. Posteriormente, puede haber algo de sensación pulsátil.
Este examen se puede hacer para diagnosticar intoxicación con cromo o deficiencia de éste.
