Consideraciones especiales:

Este examen no debe realizarse si usted tiene enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica (EIP) o si está experimentando sangrado vaginal inexplicable.

Después del examen, infórmele al médico inmediatamente acerca de cualquier signo o síntoma de infección, como flujo vaginal maloliente, dolor o fiebre.
