Las pruebas de embarazo en orina sólo serán positivas cuando la persona tenga suficiente GCH en la sangre. Si el embarazo apenas está comenzando y el nivel de GCH está por debajo de 25-50 mlU/ml, la prueba será negativa.
Si la persona cree que está embarazada, debe repetir la prueba de embarazo en casa o en el consultorio médico.
