Consideraciones especiales:

Los medicamentos que pueden aumentar los niveles de lipoproteína son, entre otros: aspirina, anticonceptivos orales, fenotiazinas, corticosteroides y sulfonamidas.

Las venas y arterias varían en tamaño de un paciente a otro y de un lado del cuerpo al otro, razón por la cual obtener muestras de sangre en algunas personas puede ser más difícil que en otras.
