Valores normales:

Un rango normal y típico oscila va de 4.5 a 11.2 microgramos por decilitro (mcg/dL).

Significado de los resultados anormales:

Los niveles de T4 superiores a lo normal junto con niveles bajos de TSH pueden deberse a afecciones que involucran una hiperactividad de la tiroides, como:

  • Tumores de células madre
  • Hipertiroidismo inducido por yodo
  • Tiroiditis subaguda o crónica
