La glucosa generalmente no se encuentra en la orina, pero si se presenta, se necesitan pruebas adicionales.

Significado de los resultados anormales:

Los niveles de glucosa superiores a lo normal pueden ser un signo de:

  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Secreción anormal de glucosa de los riñones en la orina (glucosuria renal)
