• Deshidratación
• Diarrea
• Sudoración excesiva
• Glucosuria

• Estenosis de la arteria renal
• Síndrome de secreción inadecuada de hormona antidiurética ( SIADH )
• Vómitos
• Consumo restringido de agua

• Consumo excesivo de líquidos
• Diabetes insípida central
• Diabetes insípida nefrógena
• Insuficiencia renal (es decir, pérdida de la capacidad para reabsorber agua)
• Pielonefritis
