Hay un bajo nivel de exposición a la radiación, sin embargo, la mayoría de los expertos cree que el riesgo que implica la mayoría de radiografías es menor que otros riesgos de la vida cotidiana. Las mujeres embarazadas y los niños son más sensibles a los riesgos de la exposición a los rayos X.
