Valores normales:

Significado de los resultados anormales:

Un resultado anormal se puede deber a muchas afecciones. Algunos de los problemas que se pueden observar abarcan:

Anomalías congénitas
Cáncer en el útero, los ovarios, la vagina y otras estructuras pélvicas
Infección que incluye enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica
Tumores no cancerosos en el útero y los ovarios (como quistes o fibroides)
Torsión ovárica

Algunos problemas o afecciones que se pueden encontrar específicamente en mujeres embarazadas son:

Embarazo ectópico
Presencia de más de un feto (gemelos, trillizos, etc.)
Aborto espontáneo
