La cantidad de irradiación recibida durante una TC es mínima; pero puede existir alguna preocupación con respecto a las mujeres embarazadas o lactantes. Sin embargo, los beneficios que se obtienen con el examen generalmente sobrepasan cualquier riesgo existente para el feto o el recién nacido.

Consideraciones especiales:
