Significado de los resultados anormales:
La sensibilidad de la IRM depende en parte de la experiencia del radiólogo.
La IRM abdominal puede revelar muchos trastornos médicos, como:
- Absceso
- Necrosis tubular aguda
- Masas suprarrenales
- Cáncer
- Agrandamiento del bazo o del hígado
- Problemas con la vesícula o las vías biliares
- Cálculos biliares, cálculos en las vías biliares
- Glomerulonefritis (inflamación de los glomérulos del riñón)
- Hemangiomas u otros
- Hidronefrosis (agrandamiento del riñón por reflujo de orina)
