Significado de los resultados anormales:

Las imágenes deben mostrar que el material radiactivo se ha distribuido uniformemente en todo el cuerpo y no debe haber áreas de aumento o disminución de la distribución. Los "puntos calientes" son áreas donde hay aumento de la acumulación del material radiactivo; mientras que los "puntos fríos" son áreas donde hay menos captación del material radiactivo.
