Valores normales:

Un valor normal es la visión 20/20 (visión perfecta: capaz de leer letras de un tamaño de 3/8 de pulgada a una distancia de 20 pies (6 m). También se usa un tamaño de tipo pequeño para determinar la visión cercana normal.

Significado de los resultados anormales:

  • Miopía (visión corta)
  • Hiperopía (presbicia)
  • Astigmatismo (córnea asimétrica)
  • Presbiopía (incapacidad para enfocar los objetos cercanos que se desarrolla con la edad)
