Valores normales:

Un resultado normal significa que los vasos aparecen de tamaño normal y sin obstrucciones ni filtraciones.

Significado de los resultados anormales:

Si se presenta una obstrucción o filtración, las imágenes trazarán la localización para el posible tratamiento.

Un valor anormal de una angiografía con fluoresceína puede deberse a:

  • Retinopatía diabética o de otro tipo
  • Degeneración macular
  • Cáncer
  • Tumores
  • Problemas circulatorios
  • Inflamación o edema
  • Microaneurismas (agrandamiento de capilares en la retina)
  • Inflamación del disco óptico
