La extensión de la visión periférica es normal.
Significado de los resultados anormales:
Los resultados anormales pueden indicar la presencia de enfermedades del sistema nervioso central , tales como tumores que lesionan o comprimen las partes del cerebro que tienen que ver con la visión. Otras enfermedades que pueden afectar el campo visual del ojo son diabetes , hipertiroidismo (una afección caracterizada por la producción hormonal excesiva de la tiroides), hipertensión , enfermedades de la glándula pituitaria y esclerosis múltiple .
