Biopsia ureteral retrógrada por cepillado - Risks

Cuáles son los riesgos:

  • Alergia a los anestésicos
  • Sangrado
  • Infección (infección urinaria, pielonefritis o sepsis)
  • Agujero (perforación) en el uréter

Coméntele al médico si usted tiene cualquier alergia a los mariscos, ya que puede causar reacciones alérgicas si el medio de contraste utilizado durante este examen se administra a través de una vena (vía intravenosa).

Consideraciones especiales:

Este examen no se debe realizar en personas con infección urinaria aguda u obstrucción en o debajo del sitio de la biopsia.

Después del examen, esté atento al dolor abdominal o dolor de costado e infórmele al médico de inmediato si se presenta dolor excesivo, fiebre o escalofrío.

Una pequeña cantidad de sangre en la orina es normal durante las primeras veces que uno orina después del procedimiento. La orina puede lucir de color rosado tenue. Infórmele al médico si se presenta orina con mucha sangre o sangrado que se da en más de tres micciones.
