Laparoscopia diagnóstica - Riesgos

Cuáles son los riesgos:

Existe el riesgo de punzar un órgano, lo cual podría ocasionar filtración de los contenidos intestinales o sangrado hacia la cavidad abdominal. Estas complicaciones usualmente hacen que se cambie de una laparoscopia a una laparotomía (cirugía abierta).

También existe algún riesgo de infección; sin embargo, generalmente se administran antibióticos como medida de precaución.
