Anemia por deficiencia de hierro en los niños
La Academia Estadounidense de Pediatría (American Academy of Pediatrics, AAP) recomienda que todos los bebés sean alimentados con leche materna o leche maternizada (fórmula) fortificada con hierro durante al menos 12 meses. La AAP NO recomienda dar leche de vaca a los niños menores de un año.
