Extracción de garrapatas - Symptom

Síntomas:

Si bien la mayoría de las garrapatas no son portadoras de enfermedades, algunas pueden causar:

Se debe estar atento a los síntomas de estas enfermedades en las semanas siguientes a la picadura de este animal:

  • Fiebre
  • Dolor de cabeza
  • Dolores articulares o musculares
  • Otros síntomas seudogripales
  • Rigidez en el cuello
  • Inflamación de los ganglios linfáticos
  • Debilidad

Asimismo, se debe prestar atención a una mancha roja o brote que se inicie en el lugar de la picadura.

La garrapata en sí puede provocar parálisis en los humanos (llamada parálisis por garrapatas).

Los síntomas abarcan:

  • Falta de coordinación
  • Entumecimiento
  • Propagación de la parálisis
  • Hormigueo
  • Debilidad
